They're crying so much I'm worried.

This is a parenting blog by Sugii, the representative.

There were times when my baby's crying changed between one and two months old, making me wonder, "Is everything alright?"

I will be writing about that experience.

・Is this kind of crying okay?

→Honestly, my child, who cries quite a lot, cried with such intensity and loud volume that I asked the hospital doctor about it during the 1-month checkup. They replied, "Crying loudly is a sign of good health." That alone instantly eased my mind.

→If your baby is crying with less energy than usual, it could be a sign of illness, so take their temperature and, if necessary, go to the hospital.

As the days go by, the variety of cries increases, so checking if they are "crying with a strong voice" and "energetically flailing their arms and legs" can help you determine if they are feeling well or not.

・How to interpret crying

→Honestly, at first, I found it stressful, lol.

However, because of the crying,

① I can tell when they are hungry

② I can tell when they are sleepy

③ I can tell when it's time for a diaper change

④ I can tell when they want to be held

I started to change when I got into the habit of interpreting crying as their way of expressing themselves because they can't speak. Slowly but surely, I've felt less stressed.

※There are times when I still feel a bit stressed, especially when I'm busy or working.

Please cherish every moment of this joyful, precious, and fleeting one-year baby period.

See you then.
